Looking for more room?

Radian 5 is a large multi-stage seat designed to accommodate children up to 7 years. For older children with full head control, the Diono angle adjuster can be used to give a more upright position and allow more space in the front seat for the driver or passenger.

To install the angle adjuster:

  1. Place the angle adjuster flat on the vehicle seat, print side up
  2. Install the Radian 5 on top of the angle adjuster

Need to install in the front seat?

Diono highly recommends all children ride safely in the backseat. However, if front seat installation is unavoidable, the Radian 5 bolster must be used. It can also be used in the back if Radian 5 cannot be braced by the front seat while in the rear facing position.

The bolster helps absorb crash forces and is included with all Radian 5 purchases.

Front Seat Bolster Use:

  1. The bolster must be used for all front passenger seat installations
  2. Don’t forget to disengage the air bag!
  3. To attach, lay the seat face down and position the bolster
  4. Line up the pins on the bolster with the holes in the seat
  5. Push the pins in firmly until they click
  6. Now proceed to install the Radian 5 rear facing as outlined above
